California Adventure-Sausalito

I apologize for the delay in blogging again.  It has been a unbelievable hectic at my day job, and I have come home most nights completely mentally exhausted.  Which has meant that I haven't done a whole lot of blogging, running or really anything.  The weekends have also been really packed, but full of friends, food and fun times!

A few weeks ago, R, Moz and I had the opportunity to house/dog sit for our good friend and her 2 pups (Zeke and Zebby).  She lives in Sausalito, and we had an amazing time spending the weekend there and exploring the small town just across the bay.  Her house was literally on the water (on stilts), and minutes away from the downtown and plenty of great hiking and biking trails.

On Saturday, we woke up early to get breakfast at this cute little restaurant, Cibo.  It is chic, modern and the perfect way to start our weekend away.  After that, we took the pups for a long hike in the Marin Headlands.  The trail overlooks Sausalito, Tiburon and Angel Island to give us the perfect views and a chance for the pups to run around freely.

For a late lunch, we went to F3 (Fast Food Francais).  It is definitely not your typical fast food place.  They had the most varied and unique burgers, including the Duck Confit and Beef with fried oysters (which is what we got).  Bon appetit!  We spent the rest of the day wandering along water line enjoying the beautiful weather!

It is definitely a perfect short getaway from the city, and Moz thoroughly enjoyed being with his besties for 2 1/2 days!
