fall times

Here in SF we have been having some pretty warm days, so it has been difficult for me to get into the mindset of fall.  However, I am ready for the crisp days, yummy soups, cozy cardigans and boots!  So in honor of Halloween today (even if I did wear red/pink), I ordered a hot carmel apple cider from Starbucks (yum!) and showing some fun pics of our trip to the pumpkin patch!

No costume for Moz this year...but he enjoyed this just as much!

Happy (late) Halloween!

crazy, fabulous life...

So...its been over 3 months since my last post!  It has been one crazy summer and fall to say the least.  I travelled to 3 cities, got engaged, ran a marathon...oh and spent a week with the fam here in SF!

Just some quick snapshots of the last 3 months...

In August, I went to Vegas with a couple of girlfriends.  In true Vegas fashion, 3 days felt like 2 weeks.  There was the Beatles LOVE show, Bellagio brunch buffet, drinks, gambling and a serious sunburn!

Then on September 18th, R asked me to marry him on top of Mt. Tam!  I said yes, and it has been a whirlwind ever since!!  We have had amazing love and support from all of our friends and family!!  I am excited to start planning (well...I actually already have) and sharing more on the blog!

View from the proposal and our lovely hike afterwards!
Two weeks later, we jet-setted to Seattle for R's birthday!  Seattle is an amazing place, and I can't believe it took 6 years to make the journey north!  We enjoyed an underground tour, wandering around Pike Place Market, 16 mile run through Queen Anne neighborhood and eating/drinking with friends!

During our trip up north, we took a 3 hour ferry ride up to Victoria, Canada, where we visited Butchart Gardens.  The gardens were absolutely amazing!  I love the quiet, serene beauty of nature, and to see someone's love and hardwork into these gardens was simply amazing!

Finally, October 16th was the Nike Womens Marathon!  Though the training in the last 3 weeks was lacking, it was an awesome race!  Sunscreen booths and Ghiradelli chocolate along the course and a Tiffany's necklace handed to you by firemen in tuxes...I mean what woman wouldn't love this race.

Now that I am not running 50 miles a week and gone every weekend, I should be much better about getting the blog back on track!  I also will be adding some wedding posts...inspiration, updates and all things sparkly!
